Our smoothest plaster, Porcelina™ provides the user with an opportunity to create traditional Old World marble smooth surfaces.
Coverage: Approximately 250 square feet per 50 lb. bag (per coat).
Plaster comes without color pigment - color is Snow Canyon (003) in our color palette.
Porcelina™ (50 lb.)
Porcelina™ is satin-smooth and easily blended for a marble-like surface. This product is often compared to the Venetian plasters of Italy. The quality of Porcelina™ is similar to the "porcelain" ceramic for which it was named. Up & EZ! binder is recommended in all Original plaster applications - the binder adds durability and impact resistance to the plaster.
Porcelina™ is used as a second finish coat only, over Loma™ plaster.
Surfaces with texture will require a thicker base coat, never more than 1/16 of an inch.
Recommended application thickness: applied as a second coat at approximately 1 business card thickness over the base coat.
